Fontecchio Project

Fontecchio is a comune and town in the Province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The small, medieval village is located within the Monte Sirente which is a part of the Sirente-Velino Regional Park.

I am working with my family, friends and the Fontecchio community to create an artistic space for personal health and growth. We are currently formulating what we want it to look like. It will include classes on medieval crafts including weaving, pottery, book binding, leather work, pottery, lace making etc. We want this space to explore the visual and written arts as well. I also want to use this space for retreats on creating a life that is interesting and helping to make changes both personal and community building.
